As many of
you already know, Peabody Coal Co. sold a parked Bucyrus Erie 1450
dragline to Martin Marietta Minerals. The drag was refurbished and
shipped by barge to it's new home in the Bahamas. Since the work was
going on it a remote location, and took some time to complete, a trip
to see it would have been a waste of time. Thankfully, David
Hope lives in the area and was willing to capture the events in
pictures, for all of us to enjoy. Here are the pictures he took for US. |
