(note the man standing just behind the outer track) The hydraulic leveling cylinder is connected to the crawler unit with a "Ball and Socket". This allows the crawler to sit out of level ( "front to rear" or "side to side") without placing any torrisional stress on the leveling cylinder or it's connection points at the lower deck.
