The coal wasn't selling, and the permits to mine new land were being delayed.... So we waited. I was asked by several people, if i thought that the spade would ever work again, and I honestly had some doubts. Until the stockpile was sold, it wouldn't have been feasible to mine more coal,  and the pile was just sitting there.    And we waited. Welded up, fenced in and waiting. Photo: Steve Wolken     NEXT
